Mission Statement
The Information Technology Department strives to provide high quality technology-based services, in the most cost-effective manner, to facilitate the City of Hobbs operations and its services to the community.
To meet this mission we will:
Provide effective technology support for computer systems, networks, the internet/intranet, communications equipment, office equipment, emergency alert equipment, the community bulletin boards, the KHBX radio station, city webpages, and related services to all City departments and facilities.
Facilitate the effective integration of technology into the basic mission of the City of Hobbs through planning, design, training, consulting, and other support activities
Facilitate the collection, storage, integrity and security of electronic data while ensuring appropriate access
